Dr. Hossein Bazrafshan Moghadam, a faculty member of the Department of Physics at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, received the Honorable Mention award of the Gravity Research Foundation in 2020. Dr. Bazrafshan Moghadam, along with Dr. M. Oltean of the University of Barcelona in Spain and Dr. R. Epp of the University of Waterloo in Canada, received the award for their research on the "laws of quasi-local stability in cosmology."

It should be noted that the Gravity Research Foundation is one of the most prestigious institutes in the field of gravity in the world; this year 36 research projects in the field of gravity in various subjects from around the world have received this title.
