An online webinar was held with the presence of Dr. Hamid Reza Danesh Nari, Director of International Affairs Office, and Dr. Ghoboli Derafshan, Dean of the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, along with officials from the University of Qadisiyah and the Faculty of Educational and Islamic Sciences of Iraq.

This meeting, aimed at expanding and deepening scientific and research cooperation between the two universities, saw both sides emphasize the importance of student and faculty exchange in the fields of humanities, as well as the establishment of joint scientific working groups.

Dr. Danesh Nari, pointing to the existing scientific and research capacities at the Faculty of Theology of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the University of Qadisiyah, stressed the necessity of utilizing these potentials to enhance scientific and research excellence.

The main topics of discussion in this webinar included examining practical ways to implement student and faculty exchange programs, identifying common research areas for the formation of bilateral scientific working groups, as well as discussing and exchanging views on developing frameworks for future cooperation.

Both sides expressed their hope that this meeting would serve as an effective step toward developing scientific and cultural relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq, and pave the way for more sustainable cooperation in the future.
