In parallel with the second day of the Fourth Assembly of Iranian and Arab Universities at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), several presidents of universities of Arab countries met with the president of FUM on the 25th of December 2019.

In this meeting, Dr. Mohsen Aboud Mohsen, Vice President of the University of Kufa, Dr. Taqi al Abduwani, Head of the Oman Nano Center, Professor Mohammad Maher Kabakibi, President of Damascus University, Dr. Moustafa Afyouni, President of the University of Aleppo, Syria, met with Professor Mohammad Kafi. In this meeting, Dr. Gholamreza Raeisian, Dean of the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies of FUM, Dr. Ehsan Ghabool, Head of International Academic Relations of FUM, and Dr. Zeinab Moazenzadeh, Head of the International Students Office of FUM were also present.Memoranda of Understanding were also signed between the two sides on establishing and enhancing scientific and research cooperation, student and faculty recruitment.
