Student team of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), consisting of law students of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, with the guidance and supervision of Dr. Azam Amini, member of the Faculty of Law, participated in the simulation competition of the Jessup International Court of Justice and won the Spirit Award in the tournament.

Jessup is the largest worldwide court simulation competition in which more than 700 law schools compete from 100 countries. The competition involves simulating a hypothetical dispute between countries with the International Court of Justice (UN judicial body). Mohammad Ali Khattat, Hengameh Elahi Fard, Fahimeh Maghsoudi and Fatemeh Valizadeh, along with two international law advisers, Dr. Elnaz Nasari and Katayoun Ashrafi, participated in the course.
